My name is Allison and I'm a mother, a fiance, and a healthcare provider. I actually work right now as a NeuroStar treater, so I have a pretty unique perspective because I've seen both sides.

NeuroStar was brought into our office in 2012 where I started treating patients daily, and that was when I figured out that this was a definite game changer for mental health. It was about a year into our office treating patients where I decided to ask my work if I could go ahead and go through the treatment.

No one could believe that I had suffered from depression because I had a game face on for the first 38 years of my life. I've suffered from depression my entire life. I never knew what a life without depression was and I didn't even realize that depression was what I had until the birth of my son. I felt like I couldn't tell anyone about my depression because you're supposed to be happy when you have a child. Then I realized I've never been happy.

I tried lots of antidepressants throughout the years before I found NeuroStar TMS therapy. And while some may work, there's a lot of side effects, and I had enough of the side effects and what they did to me. And so that's when I decided that it was time to try NeuroStar TMS therapy.

Two weeks into treatment is when other people have said that they noticed changes within me. They said my eyes looked a little brighter, that my smile wasn't so faked and rehearsed. I'm proof right now, sitting here, that NeuroStar TMS therapy works.

When finding a TMS physician, you have to trust your doctor. You have to trust your treater. They're great resources. They're there for you. I try to make it fun, stress-free if it's the only place they go every day that they're appreciated, that they're actually a person and not just coming in, having a medical procedure and going.

The future couldn't be any brighter than it is right now. NeuroStar gave me the will to be the best me. I mean, I feel like I'm finally getting my fairytale.
